Final Logo Comp

The logo I chose to design is for Bobcat Bistro. The logo is a combination mark because it is both a symbol and contains the words "Bobcat Bistro". The target market is the student body of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. The concept of the design is to keep the traditional round and simple design of bistro symbols while promoting school spirit. The colors used are dark blue, light blue, and white: the school's colors that symbolize Our Lady of Lourdes. Bistros are known to be simple, casual, and modern, thus making the sans serif, thin type under the symbol appropriate. The larger and calligraphic B in the symbol is appropriate because it grabs attention and gives the symbol class.
